Please have your child bring indoor shoes at your earliest convenience, and help keep our classroom and school clean. Thank you!
The students wanted to share that we went outside and enjoyed the nice weather a few times today. Everyone was excited to meet each other as we acquainted ourselves with new and old friends. We even got to spend time with Mrs. Lagrana's class, who will be our partner class this year.
All the students shared their love of reading and of being read to. This month, we will be doing an author "fingerprint" or study on Mo Willems. We began by reading, "We are in a book" from his Elephant and Piggie series.

Students collaborated with each other and discussed what types of classroom helper jobs we may need in order to have a clean, organized and imaginative space.
We had a wonderful first day, and I am so excited for all of the learning adventures we have ahead of us this year!
