MATH is 'Real Life'
Ask me about our discussion today about how we use Math every single day in ways we may not have even realized! We each thought about a job that we may be interested in when we grow up, and then had the opportunity to think about all the ways Math would be useful in that job.
Some of the amazing jobs we discussed included; engineers, construction workers, pilots, surgeons, waiters, policemen and policewomen, chemists, bakers and artists. Ask me about my ideas!
What Do I Think Canada Looks Like?
Today, before we begin really exploring this amazing country of ours called Canada, we had the opportunity to draw what we think it looks like! There were lots of amazing ideas; and as we inquire and learn about this land of ours, we may have a very different viewpoint at the end of this school year! Stay posted :)
