Wetlands week assembly tomorrow!

We will be having our assembly in the cul-de-sac near the wetlands! Students will participate in a 'reed cutting ceremony' to commemorate the new sign.

We will be doing a garbage cleanup of the field around our school, so please ensure your child is dressed for the weather!

Wetlands Walk and Yellow Fish Road Program Friday at 11:30am

Due to the weather being so wet last week we were unable to do our Wetland Walk and paint a fish for the Yellow Fish Road Program. The weather this week looks far more promising and we are hoping to go on Friday May 5th from 11:30-12:30. We need volunteers in order to go. If you are able to volunteer on that day please email me at imlagrana@cbe.ab.ca or snmcdonald@cbe.ab.ca In order for us to go we need to have a total of 5 Volunteers between the two classes. 

Math

Students will begin to identify the 2D shapes within the following 3D objects. They will be comparing and contrasting attributes such as sides and corners vs. faces and verticies.

Have you ever heard of a Venn diagram? We will be comparing various shapes and objects using one!
