Willy Wonka Volunteers needed, boat supplies

A reminder that we have Inline skating this week, Monday 9:20am, and Wednesday at 3:10pm- send helmets!

A reminder that this Friday is 'dress up as a favourite book character' day at ROS!

Next week, Tuesday, May 15th, ROS Grade 2 students have been graciously invited to come and watch a production of Willy Wonka at William D. Pratt school. The performance is at 10:00AM, and we will begin walking to Pratt around 9:30.

I will require 2 parent volunteers to walk with us and help supervise our class during the performance! Please email snmcdonald@cbe.ab.ca asap if you are interested. In the event of several parent requests, priority will be given to parents with volunteer clearance who have not had the opportunity to volunteer this year yet :)

Let's Build a Boat!

Please help your child bring in a few waterproof materials to design and build their boats with by Wednesday morning.

 Some suggestions include:

pop bottles
plastic wrap
foam containers
egg cartons
balloons
string
tin foil
popsicle sticks
margarine/ yogurt containers
tape
