The final session will be our Parent Share session. Parents are invited to the gym during this session to check out what students have been learning during the residency. You will have the opportunity to watch your son/daughter dance as well as to participate and have fun with them. Your parent share session will be: Monday October 22 at 2:40- 3:20
Inquiry
We have been learning about the rock cycle and experimenting with the effects of heating and freezing on soil and rock. We built an experimental mountain, froze and thawed it several times and documented the results.
1) Asking the Question (what do you want to know)

Students were introduced to the Scientific Method as a means of framing their rock questions in experiment form. The main parts are:
1) Asking the Question (what do you want to know)
2) Research (what do you already know)
3) Hypothesis (What do you predict will happen?)
4) Experiment (How will you test your question?)
5) Analyze your data (What happened?)
6) Report your findings (Why do you think that happened?)
7) Scientific Diagram (draw, label and colour your experiment)
