We have begun to investigate and compare India and Indian culture. We've discussed Diwali and a brief version of the Ramayana. We explored India through Google Maps India , Google Earth Taj Mahal , and through some articles.
Math
This week we have been working on breaking down and understanding a word problems. Students had to identify important information, find the actual problem, solve the problem, and finally check their work with multiple strategies.

Coding FRIDAY! (with Mr. Sandberg)
Today the kids got their first introduction to javascript coding today. We used p5js, a form of javascript, and the students hacked different code examples. It's so impressive to see their unique coding creations. You can explore the code and ask you child to show you around the code examples found here: p5js examples
