Magic 9, skip counting by 10a, Friendly numbers and

Rainbow facts.Ask your student about the book Decibella

We have begun exploring the STEM

 based approaches to problem-solving

called Design Thinking! We read the

a true story titled "One Plastic Bag."

  • What emotions did you feel?
  • What was the problem?
  • What did Isatou do to solve the problem?
  • Did her first try work? Did she have
  • to try more than once?

Social Studies:

Students have been working hard on

deepening their understanding on Peru

by creating detailed “Trading Cards”

that examine the culture

traditions,celebrations, geography and

animals of Peru.
