We are excited to be walking up to Pratt tomorrow at 12:45 for a tour of the school, some fun activities and to meet a grade 4 buddy and teachers. We will be back at school before dismissal. PLEASE note there is a parent open house tomorrow night at Pratt if you are planning on having your Gr3 ROS child attend there next year :)

Writing: As today was Pink Shirt Day, students read and article and annotated it with Think Notes. We made a Kindness Promise, and wrote them on leaves to decorate the Magic Treehouse with!

Reading/ Social Studies:

Ask your child about the story, "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind", they then read the article below and took Think Notes on it. We also discussed from the standpoint of Design Thinking.
(you can save or drag these images into your photos and view from there as well!)

Science:
This week we continued applying our knowledge of Design Thinking to begin making blueprints as architects do. This time we read a new Builder Brothers story called:  Better Together! We will be building our own boxcars this Friday!  Please send cardboard, a screwdriver if possible, and a few screws as well :)
